Conditions of participation for the FRANZIS competition 

1. The organiser of the competition is FRANZIS GmbH, Richard-Reitzner-Allee 2, 85540 Haar, Germany, email: service@franzis.de (hereinafter also referred to as "FRANZIS").

2. Participation in the competition takes place by following FRANZIS.de on Instagram and liking the competition post. In addition, 2 friends must be tagged in the comments. Participation is only possible once per person. Multiple participation, e.g. by using several email addresses, is not permitted and will lead to exclusion from the competition.

3. Persons aged 18 and over who are resident in Germany are eligible to participate. Employees of FRANZIS GmbH and other persons involved in the conception and implementation of the competition are excluded from participation. Participation through the involvement of third parties such as competition agencies is also excluded. FRANZIS will exclude competition entries made automatically by competition robots or other software programs from the competition.

4. For each goal scored by the German national team in group matches 2 and 3, FRANZIS will raffle one "GEOLINO Digital Microscope". The prize is not transferable to third parties and cannot be paid out in cash. Only the winner can receive the prize by post. We will contact the winner by email (the email address provided to FRANZIS in the course of the order).

5. The competition starts on 15 June 2026 and ends at the end of 25 June 2026. FRANZIS will determine the winners from among all participants at random on 26 December 2025. Following the determination of the winners, FRANZIS will inform the winner via an Instagram message. The winner must confirm receipt of the prize notification to FRANZIS without undue delay, but no later than 10 working days after receipt, by replying to this email. Otherwise, a substitute winner will be chosen.

6. FRANZIS reserves the right to adjust, change or cancel the competition at any time without giving reasons if this becomes necessary due to circumstances.

7. Recourse to the courts is excluded.

8. In the event of a breach of these conditions of participation, FRANZIS reserves the right to exclude persons from the competition (also without giving reasons).

9. FRANZIS collects and processes the personal data (email address) provided in the context of the competition exclusively for the purpose of conducting the competition and, should newsletter registration be part of the competition, also for sending free FRANZIS newsletters. It is possible to unsubscribe from the newsletter at any time.

  1. Purpose and legal basis

Your personal data (surname, first name, address, email address) are processed by FRANZIS for the purpose of conducting and processing the competition. The legal basis for processing your data is your consent pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. a) GDPR and processing for the performance of a contract pursuant to Art. 6 (1) sentence 1 lit. b) GDPR.

Your personal data are transmitted to the following recipients:

  • Email service provider: Klaviyo
  • Web hosting provider: 23M GmbH
  • Shipping service providers: DHL, DPD
  • Internal departments at FRANZIS: Omnichannel, Marketing

We do not pass on your data to third parties, in particular not for advertising purposes.

  1. Storage period

Your personal data (shipping address) will be deleted 3 months after the end of the competition, unless they are subject to statutory obligations. The newsletter subscription remains in place after the competition until the participant unsubscribes or requests the deletion of their data.

You have the right vis-à-vis FRANZIS to obtain information about the personal data concerned as well as the right to rectification or erasure, to restriction of processing, to object to processing or to withdraw your consent, as well as the right to data portability. You also have the right to lodge a complaint with the data protection supervisory authority.
